2023 Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums Lily & Lads Fundraiser
The Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums is hosting its 11th Lily & Lads Fundraiser on Thursday, August 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This event is being hosted to raise funds to cover the cost of their performance services for honor fallen police officers and firefighters at funerals free of charge. All first responders, their friends and family along with the general public are welcome to join the Metro Detroit Police Fire Pipes and Drums and the staff of Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery for an evening of fun, frivolity, fundraising, and entertainment as they raise money to continue their funeral services. All tips given at the bar and 10% of the evening’s total sales will be donated to the band. Admission to this fundraising event is free.

About the Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the contributions made to the corps are tax deductible. They were founded in 2002 after the death of Hazel Park Police Officer Jessica Nagle-Wilson. Today, Metro Detroit Police and Fire Pipes and Drums pay tribute to and honor fallen officers and firefighters throughout the state of Michigan upon the request of their families, law enforcement agencies, and fire departments through the generous donations they receive.
