Each year, officers who have exhibited bravery and selflessness and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve and protect are nominated and selected to receive this award. We extend our heartfelt thanks to 2023 Michigan Governor candidate Tudor Dixon for attending this year’s ceremony. Ms. Dixon, a steadfast supporter of Michigan law enforcement, recently dedicated her podcast to discussing the critical importance of honoring and supporting police officers.

During the podcast, she recounted the heroic actions of two officers who exhibited extraordinary courage in saving the lives of two children in a critical situation. Ms. Dixon highlighted the bravery and selflessness inherent in police work and the significant challenges officers face. She encourages her listeners to show appreciation for law enforcement and to recognize them as the heroes they truly are.
